# ONEBOX Customer Terms
Effective 13 September 2026.

ONEBOX arranges local services, takes payment, manages bookings and support, and appoints independent providers to perform the work. The customer approves the final price before confirming a booking.

To secure a booking, the customer provides a payment method through Stripe. Stripe stores the payment details; ONEBOX does not receive the full card number. Providing a payment method does not normally complete the charge. Before work starts, ONEBOX may ask Stripe to authorise the agreed amount. An authorisation can appear as a pending card transaction and temporarily reduce available funds, but it is not the final charge.

The provider must not start until ONEBOX confirms that the agreed amount is authorised. When the provider marks the work complete, the customer may confirm completion or report a problem through ONEBOX. If the customer confirms, ONEBOX may capture the authorised amount immediately. If no problem is reported, ONEBOX may capture it automatically after the displayed 24-hour review period. An open support case blocks automatic capture while ONEBOX reviews the issue.

If a card authorisation expires or fails, the customer may need to authorise again before work can start. Extra work or an increased price requires the customer's agreement and a new or adjusted payment authorisation.

Services must be performed with reasonable care and skill. Provider payout can be held during a complaint, refund, chargeback, fraud or safety review. Statutory consumer rights always take priority. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer rights. Contact: oneboxservicesuk@gmail.com.
